The origin of Livid began in the year 1998 when a few young guys from Berne had the same thoughts to commit to the same thing. This developed from the shared passion to electronic music. Meanwhile Livid is a group of seven people, who meet regularly and organize parties, supervise projects and discuss music.

It all began with a legendary private club in the West of Berne, where regular events with no commercial background were organized, with the goal of bringing people with same interests together. In spite of the limited means, a lot of time and money was invested in this project and was lived with love for every detail. Unfortunately the club declined due to a nasty fire next door.

After a bad patch of several years the Livid was able to move to a different location and was built up with full gleam and flair. The Livid, which is now situated in the heart of Berne, became for many people a second home devoting themselves to the electronic dance music. Livid has always organized parties in a small style, but now the time came to rock and roll. That’s why the series MOVINGLIVID started in the Gaskessel with the headliner Pascal Feos, who is well  known to everybody, MOVINGLIVID will take place in future every two months. Our goal is to provide a platform to DJ’s from all over Switzerland and encourage them, even if they’re not well known. Fresh style is always good for the scene, than we know exactly how hard it is for young talented people to reach the top. Also with our headliners we want to bring big acts to Berne. Those who only rarely or have never played in this beautiful capital and who are a magnet for the audience, which is a must for a successful party.

Livid want to give their guests a special experience. Whether its with visuals from Pros, or amazing lightshows, which is very rare in this country. Also of course with good quality sound. In these points we won’t spare a cent to give our guests an unforgettable night.
